Batts are fibers that have been custom blended to make a large fiber “blanket” and contain a variety of fibers that have been combined to make a unique fiber blend. Batts can have a variety of fibers such as wool, silk, bamboo, sari silk, Angelina, Firestar, silk noils, locks etc. Batts are typically stripped into sections and then spun into a yarn. Some people use batts for wet felting large pieces or needle felting. They are all unique and different and make for a uniquely fun fiber arts experience.
